Events Team Manager

Office Angels Kingston have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events Team Manager to join one of our fantastic clients who is a growing customer focussed organisation.

Our client is looking for a positive, organised and experienced Team Manager with record of improving customer service, motivating staff and increasing sales.

Duties would include but are not limited to:

* Motivate and manage the team to ensure they provide the highest levels of customer service
* To assist in the overall management and smooth operation of the office on a daily basis
* Work in collaboration with the Directors to drive the business forward
* Manage the recruitment, training & development of the team & arrange regular team meetings
* Ensure that customer service and sales targets are reached
* Work in collaboration with the Directors to grow the business
* Provide market intelligence from suppliers, clients and competitors
* Inspire and motivate the team on a daily basis
* Measure and report on your team's performance to the Directors, conducting regular reviews & appraisals
* Take responsibility for responding to operational situations to ensure the best outcome for clients

The successful candidate ideally has the following Skills:

* Experience in managing a team
* Extensive experience of successfully managing customer complaints, improving customer service and achieving the best from your team
* First class English language skills both written and spoken
* Excellent problem solving skills with strong attention to detail
* Outstanding customer service and people management skills
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a high workload
* Experience in people development, coaching and team meetings
* Experience working in a fast paced environment with performance targets and objectives
* Ability to work under pressure
* Strong negotiating skills and results orientated
* Inspiring, self-motivated & confident

What this role can Offer:

* Salary £30000 - £35,000
* Working Monday- Friday 9am- 5.30pm
* 20 days Holiday
